You and Me

Warning: Cheesy post below. 😛

I’m not a person who is comfortable in showing nor writing mushy stuff, but I guess its my turn now to let you know how much I appreciate you and the things that you do.

Hmm.. Happy Birthday to us! Yey! Who would have thought that just by merely buying a used flash may lead to a wonderful relationship? Char!

I know it was not easy and we struggled in the onset. Our personalities clashed and  I was always on the brink of walking out; even thinking at one point, we are done. Still, we managed to hold on and I can say I have no regrets of being with you. We still have a lot of personality differences and misunderstandings along the way, coupled with adjustments hehehe. But our sense of commitment and the friendship that we have as a couple, made us better individuals (I hope) and  better respective partners to each other.

I love how you make feel special and I feel I’m the most “gurjus”  woman when I’m with you. Char! Thank you for understanding and listening. It’s sometimes frustrating when we argue and we don’t see things eye to eye but you make it a point to fix things up, although you are a crybaby. 😛 (which, I likey hahaha! evil me)

There are still things which we need to learn and relearn always but I’m confident that we can make it. Here’s to our journey ahead and I will be writing cheesier stuff once we reach our milestone. 😀  Wabyu~

“I no longer believed in the idea of soul mates, or love at first sight. But I was beginning to believe that a very few times in your life, if you were lucky, you might meet someone who was exactly right for you. Not because he was perfect, or because you were, but because your combined flaws were arranged in a way that allowed two separate beings to hinge together.”

Powdery Sands of Boracay

This is a way, way before trip around 3 or 4 years ago. I was a salingpusa for a wedding proposal set by one of my church friends. I was really kurips back then and the thought of saving few bucks won me over. The free room and board plus bonggang handa in Iloilo cemented my decision to join :D.

Boracay, here we come!

This is not a budget trip (well, it was for me, I couldn’t even remember the amount I shelled out for this trip but I know it was very manageable). The fun really was building friendships and rekindling new ones. I was one of the youngest in the group so Judith and I whose age difference is negliglible, started to build a friendship which has naturally grown stronger within time. 🙂

Judith, Moi and pretty-enough-to-be-an-actress sister of then Ms Policar 😉

I was really happy to personally witness the engagement and listen to the heartfelt speech given by Joseph with matching tears to boot.

with Meanne                                                                     Joseph and Mary-match made in heaven!

I could not find in my baul of pictures the romantic proposal which unfolded. Let me just share the Boracay pics 😉

Sosyal place                                                                                        Rest of the group

Island Hopping                                                                     Puka Beach for Lunch

More pics are found in my FB. What made this trip unforgettable are the laughter, friendship and of course love (yehey!) that blended together in one harmonious memory that will definitely last for a lifetime. Cheers!

awesome Bora! 😉
